Health and Safety Executive inspectors will be making visits to constructions sites UK wide in a bid to discover what safety measures businesses have in place to protect workers.
HSE inspectors will be visiting sites across Great Britain as part of their latest health campaign to encourage companies to become a ‘dustbuster’.
The initiative is aimed at encouraging businesses to have measures in place to protect their workers’ lungs from the likes of asbestos, silica and wood dust.
The inspectors will be on the lookout for evidence of construction workers being aware of the risks, planning their work accordingly and having the right controls in place.
